Culebra Island offers Puerto Rico's best full-day private boat charter — Flamenco Beach, Carlos Rosario snorkeling, and catamaran tours from Fajardo in 90 min. Home to Flamenco Beach — consistently ranked among the world's top beaches by TripAdvisor — and the Carlos Rosario and Tamarindo snorkeling reefs, Culebra is the headline destination for most full-day charters out of Fajardo. A private catamaran or yacht from Puerto del Rey marina reaches the island in roughly 90 minutes, giving your group a full day of beach time, snorkeling with sea turtles, and stops at the quieter coves on the island's west side. San Juan departures are available on request for a longer sea day.
Flamenco Beach is the headline — a one-mile crescent of talc-white sand with calm turquoise water, reachable on foot from the dinghy landing after your charter anchors offshore. Carlos Rosario reef, a short swim from the beach, is widely regarded as one of the best snorkeling sites in the Caribbean, with healthy elkhorn and staghorn coral, sea fans, parrotfish, and regular green sea turtle encounters. Tamarindo Beach on the northeast side offers even calmer water and very reliable sea-turtle sightings in the shallows.
A private charter gives you exclusive use of the boat, which matters on Culebra trips: you choose when to move between anchorages, skip the crowds at Flamenco, and extend at Carlos Rosario or Tamarindo for as long as the group wants. Our catamarans (15–75 guests) are the most popular choice for Culebra because they offer the stability most guests prefer on the Fajardo–Culebra crossing, with generous deck space for lounging and shallow draft for anchoring close to the beach.
